A class should be created about Jewish self-hate and anti-semitism. It is a disgrace how the religion that created the modern world outlook is seen as embarrassing by its adherents.
There is an insanity afoot, the secular religion that sees democracy as a substitute for tenets of established religions. Democracy is not a solution to the crisis of the loss of moral certainty in the world that Nietzsche wrote about. The attempt to win over Islam with the bromide of democracy is counter productive. The absolutism of Islam makes democracy seem to them a threat. Only religious belief that leads to moral certainty can defang the threat of Militant Islam. Jews who are afraid of their shadows will only see their shadows grow larger in time. Be a proud Jew, not a coward. As McCain often said, stand up and be proud. If a new Messiah can lead us to a world of moral certainty without religion involved, so much the better, but until then, get your act together Brandeis Jews and time to take the show on the road. Never has there been a better time to be Jewish in America, or proud of Israel and its stand against Islamic barbarism. Its time to be counted Jews of Brandeis.
