Many of us are already on social networking sites such as Facebook, but it would be nice to have one that is more focused and driven. While I like the idea of hiring out our alumni to create and provide this service. There are off the shelf products that you can be implemented almost instantly today. For example my old high school used a packaged deal from http://www.yourmembership.com/ and it works just fine.
Just putting the idea out there.
