As much as I am pro-Judaism on campus, I must say, the break kind of sucks for us Goyim. I go home and not one person I know from high school is also on vacation. When you consider the break is also right when the final push begins for most students (be that academic or extra-curricular), I'd rather be at school. And while the February break is nice (who doesn't like time off), it comes so early in the semester that I feel that rather than giving a much needed respite, it makes the semester feel disjointed. I don't expect it to change, but for the average student, the March break makes much more sense.
