Medical Emergency
Nov. 17-A student in the Shapiro Campus Center suffered a hand injury as a result of a saw accident. The student was transported to the Newton-Wellesley Hospital via ambulance.
Nov. 17-A 50-year-old woman in Tower Lot suffering from an injured knee after falling down was transported to the Newton-Wellesley Hospital by BEMCo.
Nov. 18-A student walked into Public Safety complaining of the possibility of a broken hand or arm. University Police contacted BEMCo, and the student was transferred to the Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
Nov. 21-University Police and BEMCo arrived in Ziv Quad to check on a student who may have inflicted injuries on herself with a sharp object. The student was transported to the Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
Nov. 22-A report of a student in North Quad who fell and struck his head was delivered to BEMCo and University Police. The student was transported by ambulance to the Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
Nov. 23-An attempted suicide in North Quad was reported to University Police, BEMCo and Residence Life. The student was transported to the Newton-Wellesley Hospital via ambulance.
Nov. 23-A party in the Village notified University Police and BEMCo of an intoxicated student. The student was transported by ambulance to the Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
Nov. 23-BEMCo arrived on- scene to treat a student suffering from a cut finger. BEMCo treated the party on-scene with a signed refusal for further care.
Nov. 23-An intoxicated student in the Shapiro Campus Center was reported to the University Police and BEMCo. The student was transported to the Newton-Wellesley Hospital by ambulance.
Traffic
Nov. 19-A party in Usdan Student Center requested BEMCo for an automobile accident. No damage or injury was suffered as a result of the accident.
Nov. 20-A party in Athletics Lot informed University Police of a two-automobile collision. University Police is compiling a report.
Miscellaneous
Nov. 17-The Waltham Fire Department was notified of a fire from a party off campus. The University electrician was notified. There was no damage.
Nov. 18-University Police were notified of drug activity behind North Quad. University Police checked the area but did not find anything.
Nov. 19-A student walked into Public Safety and reported an assault. University Police was able to identify and transport the attacker to the Waltham Police Department. The student was treated at Public Safety by BEMCo.
Nov. 20-A student reported receiving threatening e-mails. University Police are compiling a report.
-University Police and a community development coordinator investigated the report of drug activity in North Quad.
Nov. 22-A party in Ziv Quad complained of noise. University Police responded and asked the residents to quiet down.
Nov. 22-A reporting party wanted to file a report of harassment with University Police when she was at the Main Gate. The University Police advised the student to contact the Waltham Police Department, as it was an off-campus issue.
