Members of Students for Environmental Action officially announced their intent to add a referendum to Round II elections. Their goal is to add an option on the University tuition bill that will allow students to donate $30 in support of developing new wind-energy sources in New England. This would indirectly affect Brandeis.

Representatives from Triskelion said they have been working with Assistant Dean of Student Life in Support of Diversity Jamele Adams on a proposal requesting a director of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender advocacy programming and resources to provide resources and programming that Triskelion cannot.

The Rubiks Cubists and Puzzle Masters club was granted a name change to the Enigmatology Club.

Brandeis for Barack requested and received recognition as a club. The group plans to coordinate events to garner support for Illinois Senator Barack Obama's run for President in 2008.

Director of Executive Affairs Adam Gartner '07 said the University might make carrying baskets or large bags available to help students transport books while in the Goldfarb and Farber Libraries.
